Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located near downtown, but the rooms suffered from a power cut leading to a lack of air conditioning, and the lighting was insufficient at night. The service, aside from some staff members, could have been more accommodating and apologetic. The location, close to downtown, might not be the safest for a leisurely stroll. The dining experience was disrupted by ongoing construction work, impacting breakfast service. The facilities were limited.
The hotel had a lovely outlook over the CBD. The rooms were completed to a poor standard, but at least you get more than just a hospital room cot. The service, from valet to every staff member, was super friendly and helpful. The location is a quick walk from everything you'd want, but unfortunately, it felt a bit dodgy due to the presence of homeless and junkies. Dining options were limited with only one server available. Facilities were basic.
The hotel's rooms are not very pleasant, with small sizes and noticeable noises, but extremely comfy and very clean. The service provided by the staff is remarkably accommodating and kind, offering a true 'home base' experience. The location is really good for accessing Universal Studios and downtown areas. The dining options offer great variety but come at an additional cost. Facilities are adequate for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were quite frustrating - they were nothing like the advertised images, very old, and had a view of a construction site with white dust falling from the ceiling. On the bright side, the service made a big difference with a smooth late check-in and stylish decor around the hotel. However, the loud banging noises were a downside. The location was spot-on for my needs, right in the heart of Los Angeles. As for the dining, it was a letdown, even a fast-food breakfast seemed better. Overall, the facilities had their charm, but there were some clear drawbacks.
The hotel offers a peaceful stay with clean rooms and nice views, ideal for longer stays. However, my experience was affected by a power cut. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, truly creating a 'home base' feel. The location had its drawbacks with safety concerns but was conveniently close to downtown LA. Dining options were limited and overpriced, but warm bread was a comforting highlight.
